Our Story
Founded in 1966, Yonkers Paint & Hardware began as a small family-run paint shop with a simple promise: honest advice, reliable products, and neighbors helping neighbors. Nearly six decades later, that promise still guides us every day.
The shop outgrew its first home, and later moved just around the corner into the larger building it occupies today.
From our home at 65 Main Street, we’ve grown into a full-service hardware destination—stocking Benjamin Moore® paint, lumber, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, plus a complete locksmith counter under our sister banner, Safeguard Lock & Key. Whether it’s a late-night leak or a last-minute color match, we treat every customer like family—because we live and work right here in Yonkers, too.
